Postgraduate diploma in Business Management (PGDM BM) - 2 yrs

Eligibility Criteria

1. For BM and HRM programmes, students who have completed three years of bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline, recognized by a university or Deemed University, are eligible to apply. 2. Those completing their final examination by June 12, 2025 may also apply. The candidates whose final exams are not over by June 12, 2025, shall not be admitted into the Programme.

Selection Process

A candidate may apply for multiple programmes. 1.Those who apply for multiple programmes may be called for multiple interviews and/or group discussions. The selection criteria for different programmes may differ depending on the nature of the programme. XAT comprises multiple components and one needs to maximize their performance in each of these components. 2.While preparing the short-listed candidates for the interview, in addition to XAT performance, we may factor in academic background and relevant work experience. Besides performance in the personal interviews (and/or group discussions), we also consider XAT performance, relevant work experience, academic background, extracurricular activities while preparing the final list.

Postgraduate diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDM HRM) - 2 yrs

Eligibility Criteria

Postgraduate diploma in General Management (PGDM GM) - 1.5 yrs

Eligibility Criteria

1. Candidates applying for PGDM (GM) must hold a minimum of three years bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in India/ abroad in any discipline, be employed in a full-time job, must have at least three years of relevant managerial experience as on March 31, 2025 in an organization of repute in the public, private or nongovernmental sector after completing graduation.

Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Venture Development) PGDM IEV - 2 yrs

Eligibility Criteria

1. Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a university or institution recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. They must have achieved a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. 2. Applicants in the final year of their bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply, provided they obtain their degree certificate by October 31, 2024. 3. Applicants must have valid scores from one of the following management entrance tests: XAT, CAT, MAT, ATMA, CMAT, GMAT, or CUET, as per the common entrance examinations conducted by the state or central government. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in startups, businesses, or relevant work fields.

Selection Process

Round 1: Application Screening Round 2: SOP (Assessment of entrepreneurial aspirations, business vision, and problem-solving approach) and 5-Minute Video Submission (Comprehensive Business Plan- Ideation/MVP/Traction) Round 3: In-Person Interview at XLRI, Delhi-NCR Campus The final list of selected candidates will be released based on cumulative scores from all rounds.

PGDM (Logistics & Supply Chain Management) (PGDM LSCM) - 2 yrs

Eligibility Criteria

1. Applicants should have a three year Bachelor’s degree with first division in any discipline, recognized by a University or Deemed to be University and it should be from a NAAC accredited institution with a rating of at least A. 2. For engineering graduates who have completed the 4-year course from reputed institutions like IITs, NITs, etc. NAAC Accreditation is not mandatory. 3. Those completing their final examination by June 12, 2025 may also apply. 4. Candidates with substantial work experience and those sponsored by their organizations are encouraged to apply.

What is the admission process for PGDM programs?

The admission process for XLRI's PGDM programs is highly competitive and based largely on the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) score although GMAT scores are accepted for candidates from international and NRI backgrounds. The admission process includes short-listing of candidates based on academic background, test scores, work experience, and other academic qualifications, conducting the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. The final selection phase takes a candidate's cumulative performance into account when determining final selection to the program.

What is the fees structure of XLRI PGDM programs?

The total fees for its PGDM (BM) and PGDM (HRM) programs for two years is around ₹30 lakhs. This cost is inclusive of tuition fees, accommodation in a hostel, study materials, and all other institutional costs. The fees vary from programs to programs. XLRI further provides financial assistance in the form of scholarships, education loans, and need-based as well as merit-based aid to deserving students.
