Terms of Service

You represent and warrant that you are competent to enter into a legally binding contract under applicable Indian laws. You are not barred or otherwise legally prohibited from accessing or using the Platform and its services.

If you are a resident of the European Union: The minimum age for use of the Platform is 16, unless your local laws require a higher minimum age for the Platform to lawfully provide services to you. In such cases, the higher age shall apply.

In all jurisdictions outside the European Union: You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. If you are under the age of 18 or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only access or use the Platform under the supervision of a parent, legal guardian, or a responsible adult who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.

By accessing or using Applyo, you confirm that you meet the applicable minimum age requirements and have the legal competence, authority, and capacity to enter into and be bound by these Terms.

You further affirm that you are not under any legal, regulatory, contractual, or mental incapacity or disability which restricts or impairs your ability to comply with these Terms, to use the services safely, or to enter into binding agreements with third parties.

You affirm that you are not accessing or using the Platform for resale, redistribution, or any commercial exploitation of the services, unless explicitly permitted in writing by the Company.

The Platform is made available to enable students to discover, research, and apply to colleges and programs of interest, through the use of a unified interface and a Common Application Form (CAF) that streamlines the admission process across multiple institutions.

Applyo provides tools and services that allow students to build their profiles, receive personalised college recommendations, track application deadlines, and complete form submissions on affiliated or non-affiliated institutions. Applyo also supports colleges, educational institutions, and their agents in identifying and reaching out to prospective candidates through the Platform.

Users' contactable information and application data may be shared with educational institutions, colleges, universities, admission counsellors, coaching centres, and other verified partners, either when a student explicitly expresses interest or when the institution identifies the student as a potential candidate.

Applyo may also offer services to assist in submitting application data directly or indirectly to domestic or international colleges based on consent and student profile, thereby facilitating the fulfilment of application and admission-related requirements.

The Platform, its related products, and any associated services (whether free or paid) are provided exclusively for the lawful and bona fide purposes described above. Any usage, sharing, or distribution of Platform content, features, services, or credentials outside the intended purpose constitutes unauthorised and improper use of the Platform.

Unauthorised Activities

Unauthorised activities include, but are not limited to: sharing of credentials, password misuse, data scraping, crawling, automated data extraction, resale of services, commercial reproduction, impersonation, or any action that results in revenue or reputational loss to the Company.

In the event you are found to be engaging in such misuse, the Company reserves the right to take appropriate legal action, including but not limited to: suspension of your access, cancellation of your account, reporting to relevant authorities, and seeking damages.

User Responsibilities

While using this Platform, you undertake to provide only accurate, true, complete, and up-to-date information. If you create a profile or submit any data on the Platform, it is your obligation to keep such data current.

We reserve the right to remove, suspend, or terminate any user account or content found to be false, misleading, outdated, incomplete, or impersonating another person or entity.

You are solely responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and ensuring that no unauthorised person accesses your account. Applyo assumes that all activity through a user account is performed with the full authorisation and knowledge of the account holder.

Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, tools, or applications. These are provided solely for user convenience. Applyo disclaims all liability arising from access or use of such third-party platforms, and users assume full risk in doing so.

To access certain features and services of the Platform, you may be required to register and create an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information, including but not limited to your name, contact details, academic credentials, and identification documents.

You acknowledge and agree that it is your sole responsibility to ensure that the information you provide at the time of registration and thereafter is true, complete, and up to date. You further agree to update your account information promptly in the event of any changes.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and security of your login credentials, including but not limited to your password, OTPs, and access tokens. You shall not disclose or share your login details with any third party under any circumstances.

Any activity or action carried out through your account, whether by you or any third party, shall be deemed to be performed with your full authorisation. You agree to be bound by such actions and shall be held fully responsible for any consequences arising from them.

If you suspect any unauthorised use of your account or any breach of security, you must immediately notify Applyo. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to comply with this obligation.

Applyo reserves the right to temporarily or permanently suspend, deactivate, or terminate your account, with or without notice, in case of any suspected unauthorised access, misuse, fraudulent activity, impersonation, or breach of these Terms.

You agree not to create multiple accounts or use fictitious identities to misuse any feature, including but not limited to referral rewards, form submissions, or promotional campaigns. Applyo reserves the right to withhold benefits, reverse transactions, or take legal action in such events.

By creating an account, you expressly consent to receive transactional, informational, and promotional communications from Applyo and its affiliated partners through SMS, WhatsApp, email, in-app notifications, or phone calls.

These communications may include updates about application status, deadline reminders, college recommendations, personalised alerts, marketing offers, or relevant academic opportunities. You may opt out of non-essential promotional communication through the unsubscribe options provided.

The Platform, including all related services, products, content, and tools made available by Applyo, is intended strictly for lawful, personal, and non-commercial use, consistent with the Purpose defined in these Terms. Use of the Platform for any activity outside this scope is considered unauthorised and may lead to immediate suspension or termination of access and/or legal action.

You agree to use the Platform only through the official interfaces provided by Applyo. You shall not access or attempt to access the Platform or its content through any automated means including spiders, bots, crawlers, browser extensions, plugins, iframes, or scraping tools.

Prohibited Actions

• Copying, downloading, modifying, replicating, distributing, or creating derivative works from any content, data, user profiles, form templates, or graphics on the Platform for commercial or competitive use without prior written consent.
• Using automated tools to extract, scrape, monitor, or crawl any part of the Platform.
• Reverse engineering, disassembling, decompiling, or attempting to derive source code or underlying logic of the Platform or its components.
• Circumventing security systems, authentication protocols, or data protection measures.
• Gaining or attempting to gain unauthorised access to any section, data, user account, or system connected to the Platform.
• Framing, mirroring, or simulating the Platform or its components.
• Hosting, modifying, uploading, posting, transmitting, publishing, or distributing any content that:
  • Is illegal, defamatory, infringing, obscene, harassing, or otherwise objectionable;
  • Contains malware, viruses, or destructive scripts;
  • Violates intellectual property rights or confidentiality obligations;
  • Harms or threatens national integrity, public order, or minors in any way;
  • Deceives users about the origin or authenticity of the content;
  • Encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense or give rise to liability.

You may not use the Platform to solicit, collect, store, or disseminate private information of other users without consent, nor to send spam, phishing attempts, or bulk communications unrelated to genuine academic or college-related purposes.

The Company reserves the right to monitor usage, investigate complaints or violations, restrict access, and take legal action, including suspension, termination, or cooperation with law enforcement, for misuse or illegal conduct.

Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use Platform Materials for personal, informational, and non-commercial use only. All other rights are reserved by Guidestone Technologies LLP and third-party licensors.

No part of the Platform—including its UI/UX components, content structure, databases, or intellectual assets— may be mirrored, reproduced, or broadcast in any media or platform without prior written authorisation.

Any unauthorised use of Platform content may result in violation of copyright, trademark, privacy, and communications laws, and will be pursued under applicable laws with appropriate civil and criminal penalties.

By using Applyo to submit applications, you explicitly authorize the Platform to act on your behalf in transmitting your application data to selected colleges and institutions. This constitutes informed consent for Applyo to complete these submissions using your profile and form data.

In some cases, technical or operational failures, server-side limitations, or unanticipated issues may prevent Applyo from successfully submitting your application to a college. You will be notified in such instances, and it will be your sole responsibility to complete the application manually on the official college website.

Applyo will attempt to ensure successful delivery of your application data but shall not be held responsible for failure to submit forms due to bugs, outages, connectivity issues, system integration limitations, or changes on the college portals.

Applyo is not liable for application rejections due to incorrect, incomplete, or outdated data; or due to college-side issues, portal downtimes, or errors in external form processors.

Final admission decisions lie solely with the colleges, and Applyo has no role or influence in these outcomes.

Your application data may be shared with or sold to partner colleges, educational institutions, outreach partners, and authorised third parties for outreach, analytics, scoring, and personalisation purposes.

By using the Platform, you agree that college representatives, admission counsellors, or communication agents authorised by those institutions may contact you using the information provided on Applyo.

If any fee is charged for services, it shall be clearly communicated.

All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in specific scenarios (e.g., duplicate transaction or excess payment).

Refund decisions are at the sole discretion of the Company.

All content and features on Applyo, including but not limited to text, design, interface, UI/UX flows, graphics, videos, quizzes, branding assets, trademarks, code, backend architecture, workflows, and layouts are the exclusive intellectual property of Guidestone Technologies LLP and are protected under Indian and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

Unauthorised access to the platform for purposes of copying, data extraction, mirroring, framing, or reverse engineering is strictly prohibited.

You may not:

• Copy, reuse, modify, host, sell, lease, or distribute any part of the platform or its content.
• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated systems to extract or manipulate content.
• Frame or mirror the Applyo platform on another server or service.
• Use the Platform or its content to create competing services, derivative tools, or clones.

Any misuse, infringement, or unauthorised use of Applyo’s intellectual property will be pursued to the fullest extent permissible under civil and criminal law, including filing of claims for damages, legal costs, and injunctive relief.

Any content submitted by users (e.g., quiz answers, comments) grants Applyo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, publish, display, and distribute such content in connection with platform operations.

Applyo reserves the right to moderate, edit, or remove user-generated content that is deemed offensive, irrelevant, or in violation of applicable laws or platform policies.

Applyo may contain links to third-party websites for additional information or services. These links are provided solely for convenience.

Applyo does not endorse or assume responsibility for the content, practices, or privacy policies of such external websites.

The Platform and its services are provided “as is” and “as available”without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Applyo disclaims any liability arising from the use of inaccurate, false, or outdated information submitted by users.

Applyo does not guarantee admission, response, or communication from any college, nor the accuracy of third-party content.

Applyo is not responsible for application failures resulting from user errors, changes in college processes, miscommunication, or internet issues.

In the event that Applyo fails to submit an application due to a system, operational, or human error, users will be promptly notified and are expected to complete the application manually through the official college website.

Applyo disclaims liability for any financial, academic, emotional, or opportunity-related loss suffered due to a missed deadline, system glitch, or college rejection.

While Applyo implements commercially reasonable security measures, including encryption, secured servers, internal audits, and access control, we do not guarantee absolute immunity from cyberattacks, unauthorised access, or data breaches. Users agree to hold Applyo harmless for any such incidents that are beyond reasonable control.

Applyo collects and processes a wide range of personal and sensitive data including, but not limited to: your name, phone number, email address, academic records, entrance exam details(e.g., CAT, XAT scores), photographs, scanned signature, identification documents such as Aadhar card, and work experience information.

This information is used for application management, verification, communication, analytics, personalisation, scoring, and generating recommendations. Additionally, Applyo may retain historical user data across admission cycles to analyse patterns, improve platform accuracy, and develop new features such as shortlist predictions, success benchmarks, or college-fit scores.

This data may be used in aggregated or anonymized form for trend analysis, system training, or performance optimization.

Applyo may use behavioural data such as user navigation, quiz activity, time spent, interest signals, and clicks to provide tailored content and recommendations.

We may share data with partner institutions, affiliates, lead management systems, analytics platforms, and cloud providers for service delivery.

Communications may be initiated by Applyo, its representatives, or colleges/institutes accessing data through a commercial relationship with Applyo.

Users are advised to refer to the Privacy Policy for a comprehensive explanation of data handling practices.

Applyo retains user data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy, including providing services, improving features, conducting analytics, and complying with legal obligations.

Even if a user deletes their account or requests removal, Applyo may continue to retain certain non-identifiable datasuch as academic history, entrance exam scores, college preferences, and behavioural interactions, provided all personally identifiable information (PII) (e.g., name, phone number, email, Aadhar, uploaded documents) is permanently deleted or anonymized.

This anonymized or aggregated data may be used to develop analytics features, improve user recommendations, and conduct internal research to enhance the platform.

If you request complete deletion of your personal data, Applyo will honour such requests in accordance with applicable data protection laws, subject to the limitations noted above. For detailed instructions, contact grievance@applyo.in.

You can opt out of emails, SMS, or promotional messaging by using unsubscribe options or by contacting our support team.

Opting out of essential alerts may affect your ability to receive timely updates, reminders, and notifications that are critical to your application journey.

These Terms may be updated, revised, or modified by Applyo at its sole discretion without prior notice.

Your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms and any dispute arising from them shall be governed by the laws of India.

The courts located in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all matters and disputes related to the Platform.

Applyo may, from time to time, offer referral incentives to users who invite others to register and use the Platform.

To be eligible for a referral reward, the referred user must register using the inviter’s referral link or code and meet the required conditions, such as completing a profile or submitting an application to a college.

Applyo reserves the right to verify the validity of each referral and may withhold or cancel rewards in cases of fraud, self-referrals, duplicate accounts, or misuse of the program.

Referral rewards (if monetary) may be paid out as gift vouchers, discounts, or wallet credits, and are non-transferable, non-refundable, and subject to applicable taxes.

The Company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral program at any time without notice.
